We are very pleased to announce the promise of a grant of £1,680 from the Co-op. In all, Co-op funding during the last year has reached £2,180. We are very grateful to the Co-op and our Co-op supporters for this.

We are very pleased to announce the promise of a grant of £1,680 from the Co-op. In all, Co-op funding during the last year has reached £2,180. We are very grateful to the Co-op and our Co-op supporters for this. The money will be spent in a variety of ways to support the continuation of library services in Tideswell.
Shortly, the library will reach its second anniversary under community management. Tideswell library is unique in the county being, probably, the only library to have increased its opening hours and, we believe, the only library to be open until 7:00p.m. (one night per week).
The continuation of the library has been made possible by public/user support, our fantastic volunteers, our financial supporters (many who wish to remain anonymous) and our management individuals/groups.
Please visit and Use the library It’s your library, and in order to ensure its continuation we need your support. You do not have to be a registered library user to visit but registration is free and gives (free) access to a vast range of printed, recorded and online material and also computer/printing facilities. If you’re looking for a particular book, you can order it from any of the more than 45 libraries in the Derbyshire County Council system to be delivered to Tideswell!
