Library of Things – Grand Opening In early June, Tideswell’s Library of Things (LoT) hosted a “Grand Opening” to thank the individuals and groups who have supported the new service for our local community. MP John Whitby and Councillors Chapman, Mellstrom, and Buttle, joined the 50+ people attending to learn about how the LoT works.

Tideswell Community Hall has recently been successful in acquiring a grant for the installation of solar panels and a battery system at the hall. Eighty percent of the cost for the installation was obtained through the Derbyshire Dales UKSPF Community Resilience Grant Scheme.
