Love Letter I’m delighted to announce that myself, Lisa Randall and Ian Pollard raised £8764 for Ashgate Hospice in memory of my beautiful Terri James. Ashgate cared for Terri for the final few weeks of her life, and Terri herself had been fundraising for cancer and hospice charities just weeks before she herself needed hospice.

We’ve always shared our home with rescue dogs, but recently discovered that, apparently, we’ve reached the age where adoption centres politely pat you on the head and direct you toward something “lower maintenance”—perhaps a potted plant. Enter our son-in-law, who had adopted a retired Army dog from the Military Animal Rehabilitation Centre (MARC) in Melton Mowbray.
